What are soffit and fascia?
Fascia is the board along the edge of the roof, where the eavestrough is usually fastened. Soffit is the panel underneath the overhang, between the fascia and the wall. Regnier Roofing installs both, the finishing pieces of a roof edge.
They do more than finish the look. Vented soffit lets outside air into the attic at the eaves, and that air leaves through vents along the ridge, which is what keeps an attic from trapping warm, moist air.
